Jennifer discusses her contribution to the exhibition which is an image of a fox because she loves the form and colours of a fox which is very much a part of British wildlife.

Claire Shackleton describes her artistic journey that has led her to this Spirit Animals exhibition and how she feels about painting animals. She is inspired by the natural world and a sense of the sacred in our ordinary/extraordinary lives. Touched by brief glimpses beyond the veil, Claire works with this sense of divinity and sacred geometry that shines through into her art.

Paul Jerome discusses his love of printmaking and art since his early experiences in university and Adult Education.

He has spent a lifetime drawn to the natural world and its cultural significance throughout the ages and his designs are very much admired for the duality of their simplicity of colour and the complexity of design.

Elizabeth Mellen discusses her expertise and curating the Come Eat With Me Installation Exhibition at Rochester Cathedral on The Nation's Table which consists of icon-like images of the Apostles and Jesus as inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's painting of The Last Supper.
This is a unique and beautifully stunning exhibition where Art, History and Belief come together.

Canon Gordon Giles discusses her expertise and curating the Come Eat With Me Installation Exhibition at Rochester Cathedral on The Nation's Table which consists of icon-like images of the Apostles and Jesus as inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's painting of The Last Supper.
This is a unique and beautifully stunning exhibition where Art, History and Belief come together.

The late and eminent iconographer Ann Welch discusses her expertise and Iconography and the practical rules and techniques  she used as well as her own particular approach that she applied when creating  sacred art. Ann created an icon-inspired image of Mary Magdalene for this installation.

Hanna-Leena Ward discusses her expertise in painting icons for cathedrals. churches and other organisations using ancient techniques and traditional resources.
Jesus Christ was the subject of Hanna-Leena's submission to this exhibition.

Simon Mills discusses his artistic works throughout his successful career and his personal preferences of styles and subjects. Simon explains how he approached his portrait of Saint Philip inspired by traditional icons. 

5 Randa Saab (1).png

Randa Saab, an accomplished sculptor and painter discusses her participation in the Installation. Randa's image of Saint Thomas was created using acrylic paint on gesso and is shown pointing to Jesus' wounds.

6 Brian Homewood (1).png

Brian Homewood discusses his artistic journey and the influences that have impacted on his style. Brian painted Saint Bartholomew and although he was influenced by Da Vinci's work, he has presented his own interpretation of the reaction of the apostle to the news that unfolded.

Sandra Dean discusses her painting journey from college hopes to domestic chores and back to easel and personal dreams. Having spent more than 25 years making up for life's earlier distractions, her work has been shown in various counties around the UK. Although she also creates studies in pastels, for this exhibition Sandra's subtle painting of Angel Gabriel is painted in traditional oils.

Janice Emmott discussed her contribution to the Come Eat With Me exhibition. Having retired from her career in health care, Janice began her artistic journey with zeal and has been successful in contributing to several projects.
For this exhibition she wanted to reflect the animal symbolism connected to the story of Jesus and his mission.

Barry Page talks about the interests that inspired him to focus on painting Saint Matthew Major. Barry accessed his Intuition and utilised his imagination to find the image of Saint Matthew that showed him expressing his state of shock and disbelief in a way that Barry wanted to portray.
