A fresh look at the Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci's 'Last Supper' through the eyes of 18 artists.
Specialist Icon artists and local Kent artists, including specialist pottery in 1st Century style, who have created a table set for a king capturing a specific moment in time when Christ speaks of his betrayal.

Commissioned by Ludovico Sforza, Duke of Milan, for the Dominican convent of Santa Maria della Grazie, 'The Last Supper' was completed by Leonardo da Vinci around 1498.
The mural, considered to be da Vinci’s transitional work into the High Renaissance, depicts the story told in St John’s Gospel and shows the reactions of the Twelve Apostles in the moment after Jesus has revealed that one of them is about to betray him.

The Twelve Apostles are shown in four groups of three and each one shows a different response.

An awe inspiring enhancement to Palm Sunday.
Amazing work and interpretations especially the apostles.  Loved the pottery too. Thank you.

Julie Harrison - Lincoln UK

A very well thought out exhibition. The idea of plates set out on the table was a touch of genius.".
